51 Things Not to Feel Guilty About

Moms are really good at a lot of things.  Unfortunately, one of the things we’re especially good at is feeling guilty!  We can feel guilty about what we do, what we don’t do, and what other people (our children) do.  Like I said, we’ve got this guilt thing down pat.

Well this year, give the guilt a rest with the mom version of 51 Things I Won’t Feel Guilty About.   And while you’re at it, don’t fall victim to these 11 Lies Moms Believe

First of all, I love imom! :) However, I suggest you drop this particular email list as I think the Holy Spirit does work in us with conviction and God does care about our discipline & self-control and He is the God of small things (He uses them to train us for the big things according to Joyce Meyer!), so while I agree that we shouldn’t be beating ourselves up with “guilt”, neither should we shut the door on the Holy Spirit’s conviction if we are called to self-control or discipline…sooo….maybe just skip this one? This is a worldly list (is there an “enough” for volunteering and who are we trying to please there?) We should seek God’s will for our food, time, body, etc (lots of guidance in the Bible on this) and not rely on a list to say it’s ok to eat fast food, skip makeup, etc, ya know? I believe if we simplify and seek God on these things (not the world’s approval), the Holy Spirit will tell us what is important and what is not and it may vary at different times for different people.

Thanks for listening – will you consider dropping this email off the rotation? I really feel strongly that this one is of the world. thank you and

May God Bless you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you Shalom (peace): Numbers 6:22
