9 Printable Cards for Teacher Appreciation Week

Did you have a favorite teacher growing up?  Do you remember how that teacher made you feel—valued, intelligent, special?  My first grade teacher was like that.  Miss Menendez was loving, encouraging, and firm when she needed to be. I talked too much in class and she gave me a grade that reflected that.  But I still loved her because she was so kind.

There are many teachers like Miss Menendez.  They give 110 percent even when school budgets are being cut and they’re being asked to do a whole lot more with a whole lot less.  In fact, a recent study found that teacher morale is at an all-time low.

So plan on making a big to-do about Teacher Appreciation Week (it runs May 7 – 11) starting with these 9 Printable Teacher Appreciation Cards.  Need a way for the entire class to show they care?  Our compliment bouquet (we created it for Mother’s Day, but it’s perfect for this, too) is ideal for getting each child involved.
