The Secrets to Raising Boys and Girls

 

It starts with the first call you make after the ultrasound: “We’re having a boy!” and the listener replies something like, “Oh, have mercy, you won’t have anything in your house that isn’t broken in three years time.” If you announce, “It’s a girl!” you’re likely to hear, “Just get out your checkbook, honey.”
