10 Things Robo-Moms Say

Do you ever catch yourself turning into Robo-Mom with your kids? “Mom, can I have a…?” And even before they’ve finished asking their question you give a programmed, “No! Not now. Just a minute.” Basically, you’re a robot, spitting out words without really thinking. But be warned, if you “robo respond” to your children, eventually, they will “robo respond” to you – or not bother talking to you at all.

So the next time your children come to you, stop what you’re doing (put down that phone or close that laptop), look at them, and avoid these 10 “Robo Mom” responses.  Then, take every opportunity you can to chat with them.  To help you do that in a fun, casual way, we have created some new Family Conversation Starters printables and given them their own section on our website.  Download them today and tell robo-mom, bye-bye!
