How to Give Your Child the Summer Edge

What do good teachers expect from their own children over the summer?  How do they give their kids the summer learning edge?  “I give my daughter five worksheets every week,” says one outstanding fourth grade teacher. “It’s just a way of reinforcing what she’s learned over the school year, so she doesn’t lose those skills – especially in math.”

So, pick up a math workbook or two for your children, and then make sure they’re spending time reading as well.  Our new Ice Cream Cone Math and Reading Reward Chart can help you motivate them.  Once they fill in the chart, they get an ice cream trip!

Here are more ways to give your child the summer edge.
