How Does Your Child See You?

 

I recently got a picture of how my son sees me.  Here are some of his fill-in-the blank answers:

My mom wants… me to do my best at everything.

My mom pretends… to like food when she really doesn’t.  (What’s that about?)

My mom says… “I love you” every day.

Some of his answers were funny (the food one), some were convicting (he had a lot in there about me expecting him to do his best.  Too much, perhaps?), and some were touching (after the prompt, you hope, he wrote: …that you are being a good mom.
