4 Ways to Make Your Child Feel Secure

As the school year gets underway, your children will face a lot of new and sometimes challenging situations – different teachers, tougher classes, friendship changes.  So they’ll need you to provide a sense of security now, more than ever.  Because when it comes to their home life, they don’t want to feel like things are upside down, or that there’s a surprise around every corner. They’ll get enough of that in the world, outside of the four walls of your home.

So here are 4 ways to make your children feel secure:

Be open and honest about things that involve them.

In these uncertain economic times, share your family’s financial plan.

Have boundaries in place.

If you’re married, the best way to make your child feel secure is to have a healthy marriage. So strengthen yours by making couple time a priority.
