We know Labor Day is really about work, but giving birth is a lot of work too! So share your “labor pains” with your kids. My daughter loves to hear about when it was time for me to go to the hospital, and how her Dad started running around in circles in a new father panic! I finish the story by telling her how incredible it was to look into her eyes for the first time, to know that this was our child, and that all of the labor was well worth it, and still is.
