Countdown to Easter

Do you hear that hopping in the distance?  Yes, Easter is almost here.  It used to be that Easter was a really big deal.  Families would buy special Easter dresses for girls, and new suits for boys.  I have photos of my Dad’s sisters all decked out in their vintage (of course it was new then!) Easter best!  Then, on Easter morning, after the egg hunt, they would pile in the car and go to church.  It’s too bad not as many families do that, these days, because that’s where you can celebrate The Real Meaning of Easter.

Well, with a few days left until Easter, you can still buy those new clothes (or just wear old ones!), and plan on heading out for an Easter service.  You can also make Easter special with these Easter ideas.

So true. Watered down by well meaning church going parents. Lets ditch the “Easter” label and focus on Resurrection day! Start some new traditions.
