Honor favor #1: Modeling

Here is one way you can make your family a place where honor is given away...

As your family spends time with others, people will see that you relate differently. You treat each other with honor, even under pressure. The way you talk, disagree, correct, and interrupt each other demonstrate honor. If you regularly practice patience and gracious speech, others will see it when you relate in public and will want to know why or how. Many parents have told us that, after putting our teaching into practice, they go into a store and the clerk says, "My, your children are so well-behaved." Some will think you have easy children. They won't know how much work it's taken to get this far!
