Movie Message

Typical teen angst is what you will find in this modern day Romeo & Juliet tale. This time around she comes from a wealthy family and he from a working class one. At first her father is surprised by the relationship but later this turns to anger when he believes that she is going to throw her promising future as a doctor away for his mechanic lifestyle. In the end, the family comes together in one sense but breaks apart in another with the thought that the separation is necessary to repair old wounds. It’s unfortunate that today’s families don’t work together to solve problems but seem happier taking care of their own needs. Due to underage drinking and sexuality that seems to be acceptable by all, we cannot consider this a family film.
