Synopsis

Scrat’s epic pursuit of his elusive acorn catapults him outside of Earth, where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the planet. To save themselves from peril, Manny, Sid, Diego, and the rest of the herd leave their home and embark on a quest full of thrills and spills, highs and lows, laughter and adventure while traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colorful new characters.


Movie Message

Scrat is on a journey into space with his comical tactics going after the acorn once again. While he is in space, on a ship he found in the ice, he causes a domino effect of events to happen during his bumbling chase that puts earth in danger.

Meanwhile, Manny and Ellie are dealing with the fact that their daughter, Peaches, has grown up and wants to start a life with her fiancée Julian. Being the protective parents they are, they try to show her that she still needs them. But when a party is thrown for Manny and Ellie’s anniversary, the surprises to come find the group sticking together to protect each other.

The entire Ice Age gang are featured with a few more zany characters added that show the virtues of a loving family, helping each other and no matter your species you can all work together in a common cause. The laughter is there for young and old alike. We are proud to award the Dove “Family Approved” Seal for All ages to this new addition to the Ice Age franchise.
