Pup Star is back for an all-new adventure! After winning the canine competition show ‘Pup Star’ and becoming an international pup sensation, Tiny, the adorable Yorkie, has her world turned upside down when an evil rival switches her out in competition with a street pup named Scrappy. The two pups find themselves living the others’ very different life and an incredible journey through iconic cities ensues in this fun and hilarious dog-out-of-water adventure! As they prepare for the Pup Star competition to reach its finale, each experiences life through a very different collar and discover the importance of family and being true to yourself.
“Pup Star: Better 2gether” continues the wonderful legacy of the “Air Bud” series, imagining a world where humans and animals communicate as one, breathing community. This is a wonderful franchise for youngsters as the film celebrates fun and joy!
Families will have a lot of fun watching how “Pup Star” pokes fun (in a friendly way) at television programs like “American Idol,” but the greatest fun comes from watching the two main pups – Tiny and Scrappy, two Yorkie puppies from different sides of the street –
go through a delightful role reversal. Pampered Tiny has her identity switched to live among bullish alley cats and hounds, while Scrappy gets a lick at living in high society, and with a family. They both learn, lessons about how all parts become a whole, and they find joy by working together and always learning.
This is fine children’s entertainment, a great fun for families as they can discuss the importance of family and friends. Dove is proud to award “Pup Star” with a Seal of Approval for All Ages.
