Movie Message

"Quackerz" is the colorful, animated story of the Chinese legend of the sun duck who protects the sun every 100 years. Longway does not know that he is the sun duck. His father has kept the secret from him, and all of the Mandarin ducks believe they cannot fly, which is what Longway longs to do.

When the Mallards show up on the island, they believe they have arrived on Hawaii but will not listen to the resident ducks. Nevertheless, Longway and Erica become friends, even though their fathers disagree about everything. Along the way, Erica teaches Longway how to fly. Neither of them realize the danger that this creates for them.

The evil Ms. Knout knows the legend and wants to capture the sun through the sun duck so she can stay young forever. So when she and her two thugs capture Longway, Erica gets her father and his military ducks, along with the Mandarin ducks, to work together to stop Ms. Krout's evil plan.

"Quackerz" is a charming fantasy story with lessons about working together and respecting others. We award "Quackerz" with the Dove "Family-Approved" Seal for all ages.
