Movie Message is celebrating the positive action by Global Road Entertainment in responding to the outpouring of concern from moms around the country. We want to also acknowledge the Dove community, because thanks to you, and to other publishers raising their voices, we now have a new film in theaters this weekend!

I certainly don’t remember any other instance where a studio pulls back to re-edit a film post-release in response to their audience with such genuine intent. Show Dogs likely won’t win any Academy Awards, but we will award it out Dove Approved seal and incrouage you (if you’re interested), to support the studio by going to see the new version of the film, without the failed attempt at over-the-top bathroom humor.

Here’s an article from USA Today, in case you want to catch up with the story.

Due to some courser language and themes worth considering, we award Show Dogs with Dove Approval for Ages 12+.
