Fast Food: The 15 Healthiest Fast Food Meals for your Kids


We know, fast food is a no-no.  But, sometimes, you just don't have a good alternative.  So, before you head to that beckoning drive-through for breakfast, lunch or dinner, check out the healthiest fast food meals.

Breakfast

Starbucks:

Protein plate -  fruit, peanut butter, hard cooked egg and a mini bagel. 370 calories, 5 grams of fiber, 17 grams each of protein and fat, and 5 grams of saturated fat

McDonalds:

Scrambled eggs and English muffin - 365 calories and 14 grams of fat

Jamba Juice:

12-oz Mango Peach Topper - 12-oz serving: 340 calories, 5 grams of fat, and 6 grams of fiber, and at least half your daily dose of vitamins A and C

Burger King:

3-piece French toast sticks - 300 calories, 11 grams of fat, and 2 grams of saturated fat

Subway:

Western egg white and cheese muffin melt - 160 calories, 4 grams of fat, and less than 2 grams of saturated fat

Dunkin Donuts:

Egg white and cheese wake-up wrap - 150 calories and 6 grams of fat

Chick-fil-A:

Chick-n-minis (4-Count) and yogurt parfait - Chicken: 380 calories, 14 grams of fat, and 2 grams of fiber. Parfait: 230 calories and 3 grams of fat

Lunch & Dinner

McDonalds:

Premium Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken and Low fat Balsamic Dressing - Salad: 320 calories, 9 grams of fat & Dressing: 40 calories, 3 grams of fat

Southern Style Crispy Chicken Sandwich - 400 calories and 17 grams of fat

Apple Dippers with Caramel - 100 calories and .5 grams of fat

Kids- Chicken nuggets (4-Piece), apple dipper with caramel, and an apple juice box 380 calories and 12 grams of fat.

Burger King:

Tender grilled Chicken sandwich and value O-rings -Sandwich: 470 calories and 18 grams of fat & O-rings: 150 calories and 8 grams of fat

Chick-fil-A:

Chargrilled Chicken garden salad with Light Italian dressing - Salad: 180 calories and 6 grams of fat & Dressing: 15 calories and 0.5 grams of fat

Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich and a small fruit cup - Sandwich: 300 calories and 3.5 grams of fat. Fruit cup: 50 calories

Kids-Chicken nuggets(6 count) - 200 calories and 9 grams of fat. Small fruit cup: 50 calories

Subway:

Black forest ham and a bag of baked potato chips - 420 calories and 6.5 grams of fat
