No Egg Cookies


 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1¼ cups chocolate chips
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
  3. Gradually add flour; mix well.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Dough will be thick and somewhat dry.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  (If you don't have parchment paper, use foil coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Gently press dough into the pan and shape into large eggs, or use cookie cutters.
  8.  Sprinkle with pecans and press into dough.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.  Cool in pan on a wire rack.  If you have shaped cookies, remove carefully with spatula.
