Chicken Pot Pie 2


 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 2 C celery
  • 2 C carrots
  • 5 C water
  • 1 C flour
  • ½ C sour cream
  • 12 canned biscuits, regular size
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • Butter, for biscuit tops

Directions:

  1. Prepare canned biscuits according to directions on package taking away 5 minutes. Dice celery and carrots.
  2. Boil chicken, celery, carrots salt and pepper for 20 minutes. Remove chicken from the broth. Place in a bowl and shred chicken with fork. Add flour little by little to form chicken gravy. Return chicken to gravy. Add sour cream.
  3. Pour into 13x9 baking dish. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Butter the prepared biscuits and place on top and bake for 5 minutes or biscuit tops are golden brown.
