Hot Chocolate


Ingredients:

  • 4 ounce(s) 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips (we recommend Ghirardelli)
  • 2 cup(s) half-and-half
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup(s) whipped cream
  • Cinnamon for garnish

Directions:

  1. In saucepan over low heat, bring chocolate and half-and-half to simmer, whisking constantly. Simmer 1 minute or until mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat; whisk in almond and vanilla. Pour into two coffee cups.
  2. Top each serving with whipped cream. Serve immediately.

Tip: dust with unsweetened cocoa or cinnamon (if desired).

Yield: 2 servings
