Thanksgiving
Age Appropriate Thanksgiving Tasks

Ages 5-9:

• Picking up toys and keeping family room tidy
• Setting the table - download iMOM's Table Setting Diagrams
• Helping with holiday baking (stirring, decorating, etc.)
• Folding napkins
• Creating table decorations or centerpiece
• Creating place cards
• Preparing iMOM's Give Thanks game

Ages 10-15:

• Polishing silverware
• Serving food
• Clearing the table
• Helping with cooking, baking and food prep
• Taking out the trash
• Peeling vegetables, simple food prep
• Washing dishes
• Vacuuming, cleaning, dusting
• Yard work, raking leaves
• Washing dishes
• Planning activities for before/or after the meal

Ages 16-Adults:

• Running errands, picking up last-minute ingredients
• Cooking and overseeing kitchen helpers
• Washing dishes
• Ironing table linens
• Preparing guest rooms
• Babysitting or entertaining younger siblings
