10 Ways to Pray for Your Child

I pray for my children every day, but sometimes I say the same words over and over without a lot of thought. I want more for my children. The 10 Ways to Pray for Your Child printable is a huge help because it provides specific prayers. Each of these ten prayers offers something different for my children like discernment and friends with good character. I also want my children to love God and the 10 Ways to Pray for Your Child includes this prayer too!

By the end of a long and busy day, it’s sometimes easy to fall into bed and forget to pray. But since I put the 10 Ways to Pray for Your Child printable on my nightstand, I’ve been saying these prayers before closing my eyes. Another thing to try is taping this printable on your bathroom mirror so you can pray for your children as you get ready for the day. After saying the prayers on the 10 Ways to Pray for Your Child printable, I not only feel like I’ve done something worthy for my kids, but I also feel closer to God. Praying for my children is a good thing to do for them, but doing so also deepens my own relationship with God.

At some point, every mom realizes she can’t control everything, and she can’t produce a lifetime of happy endings for her kids. But rather than throwing up her hands in defeat, a wise mom seeks the wisdom and help of God, the one who created your kids, and loves them even more than you do (it’s true!). Ready to get started? Print out the 10 Ways to Pray for Your Child printable and put it somewhere in your house where you’ll see it every day.

And if you want to pray for them even more specifically here are some great prayers for toddlers, middle schoolers, teens, boys, girls, and more!
