Every school year, I hope and pray that my children will have at least one special friend in their class. We’ve had years where that didn’t happen, and it made for many a tough school day. The topic of friends, in general, is one we should discuss with our kids. We need to encourage and teach them to make good “friend choices” and we also want them to know how to be a good friend.
